Dr. Louis Kouadio

Dr. Kouadio is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Applied Climate Sciences, University of Southern Queensland, Australia.
He is an engineer in agronomy and holds a Ph.D. in environmental sciences and management from the University of Liege, Belgium. His personal research philosophy and goal is to enable a more comprehensive and reliable assessment of environmental-related and socio-economic vulnerabilities, risks, and potential impacts affecting agricultural production using state-of-the-art techniques and/or developing innovative ones. 
Dr. Kouadio is involved in cross-disciplinary research which integrates data analysis, farming systems modelling, climate, satellite remote sensing applications in agriculture, and spatial modelling to support climate risk assessment and modelling for cropping and farming systems. He also provides expert advice and support for model design and validation for improving plant disease risk modelling and management in cereals.
